Description
Silica Desiccant Strip (6) packs. Place a single strip inside the Watershot® Housing to prevent "fogging" of the lens by humid air trapped inside the sealed Housing. For more information see the User Manual.
Phenomenon is caused when gaseous moisture, trapped inside the sealed Camera Housing, condenses because of the temperature differential between the Camera Housing and the outside water temperature. Glass usually has the lowest temperature of all the components in the Camera Housing and this is why the fogging phenomenon usually occurs on the first inside surface of the Glass Lens Port Element.
