A little tip and trick that hopefully you can play with next time in the water. Sometimes white balance can be tricky while shooting in the ocean and reds are the first to go. A couple things...sometimes for whatever reason the white balance in photo and video modes vary slightly and one may look better than the other. Many times I'll shoot video and use the bottom right button to take a still while shooting my video for this reason or if I want a little more focal length, which you'll get while shooting video, meaning it will bring your subject closer. First step is to make sure everyone knows you can take stills while shooting video with that little white button that appears in the bottom right corner once you start recording. It's good to know every little way to tweak your possibilities and open up your options with your gear.
