How do I properly install, use, and care for my Watershot for iPhone housing to prevent possible leaks?

I am having trouble with the Watershot for iPhone APP?
Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the APP from the Apple APP store. Follow the instructions in the
manual, review the Watershot for iPhone instructional videos online, and read the FAQs about the APP. If you are still having

The Watershot APP is having issues in PLAYBACK mode (crashing, no pictures showing, etc)?
Seems like a small % of poeple have a glitch when using the APP in PLAYBACK mode. The following appears to fix the issue:
On your iPhone, go into Settings/Privacy/Photos and ensure that the Watershot App is "ON".

Do I need the desiccant/silica packs that are provided in the Watershot for iPhone retail packaging?
Yes, these desiccant packs are to be used to install within the Watershot for iPhone housing to prevent lens fogging. See
the next FAQ about lens fogging for details.
How do I prevent lens fogging on the Watershot for iPhone housing?
Lens fogging is a fairly common issue with compact cameras and is caused because the warm humid air inside the housing
is cooled when you enter the water, thus causing the humidity in the air inside the housing to condensate on the lens. Here
are some tips to avoid a fogged up lens:
- Install a desiccant pack in the housing as shown below
(desiccant packs provided with Watershot for iPhone housing)
- Try to install your iPhone into your housing in a cool, dry area
- Don't let the iPhone and housing get hot - keep it cool, and out of the sun when not in use
How do I set-up the Watershot APP to allow me to post images to Facebook and Twitter?
It is best to test the Watershot APP and get it properly set-up prior to using your iPhone in the Watershot housing. To properly set-up
your Facebook and Twitter connections within the Watershot APP, you will need to access the main menu within the APP. Open the
Watershot APP and then press the "Watershot" logo in the lower right corner of the screen to open the main menu. Then press "Services"
to access the set-up areas for Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Select the social media service you want to set-up and you will be given
instructions on how to set-up the link for each of your social media services.
While my iPhone is still in the housing, can I review the photos and videos I have taken using the Watershot housing and APP ?
The Watershot APP includes a "PLAYBACK" mode for reviewing the photos/videos you have taken. If you are in "CAMERA" mode within
the Watershot APP, you can press the button on the lower right corner of the screen to change the Watershot APP into "PLAYBACK"
mode. Once in "PLAYBACK" mode, you can use the buttons to scroll thru your images and videos, and you can post them to Facebook
or Twitter directly. Currently you can view all your photos, but you cannot watch the video while the iPhone is still in the housing - we
are working on adding this feature and will keep you informed when it is available on a future revision of the APP.
