I just wanted to write and tell you how pleased I was with the customer service from both Watershot and Larry Gates (www.larrygates.com). As you know, during my recent visit to the Keys, my zoom ring gear would work ok for most of my first dive and then start slipping causing the gear to not zoom. I was diving with Larry at the time. Between dives, he tried to reposition the zoom gear ring. It would work for a little while and then start slipping again.

Larry immediately offered to let me use his zoom ring gear and said he would contact you (Steve Ogle) at Watershot. Larry kept me informed and let me know that you were sending me a new zoom ring gear. I appreciated the immediate response and replacement. Communication was great either via email or telephone.

I attempted to continue using my zoom gear ring instead of using Larry’s, and placed a piece of sticky velco inside the ring. It worked for the last day of my dive trip. Before leaving the Keys, I dropped off my zoom ring gear to Larry. Larry also tried his zoom gear ring on my kit lens and my gear ring on his lens and emailed you the results.

Anyway, I wanted to thank you, Steve, and Larry again for the great customer service. In addition, thank you for the little something extra that was in my package when I arrived home yesterday. Very thoughtful of you, and I will certainly enjoy using the compact light. I would also like to mention how much I am enjoying my Watershot housing and Canon t1i!
